Ines completed her Master's degree with supervision from Franky Bossuyt and S. D. Biju in 2005. Ines’s PhD work is on 'patterns of dispersal and vicariance of amphibian groups in southern Asia. Her study also includes influence of geographical barriers on out-of-India and into-India dispersal. Her research could map the routes that amphibians took and locate areas where biotic interchange happened within southern Asia.
