Tom
Tom is now in Systematics Lab to study the behavioural ecology of treefrogs. Tom found his first treefrog in a very unusual habitat: the frog was in a bunch of imported bananas! This frog became the first member of a captive breeding programme that Tom set up. Watching and studying the intricacies and complexities of amphibian breeding behaviour at such close range had a predictable outcome: Tom decided to specialise in treefrogs and their behaviour.
