The Systematics Lab is led by Sathyabhama Das Biju (S. D. Biju), a Senior Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at University of Delhi.

Our lab has focused on studying the diversity and evolution of amphibians for nearly three decades. This includes discovery and description of new taxa using integrative approaches, clarifying systematic relationships, and elucidating biogeographical patterns at regional and continental scales. We also investigate questions surrounding behaviour, reproductive biology, and conservation.
