Gopika took her Masters in Zoology from University of Kerala. Having grown up around forests of the Western Ghats, she is fascinated with the diversity of Indian frogs and interested to study their conservation requirements. She has joined the Systematics lab for a PhD and is planning her research on developmental biology, tadpole morphology, and evolution of larval traits in selected Indian frogs.
